The only thing the fine selection of formal attire out there rivals, the number of colors to choose from! The colors are no problem, but, as you can the most amazing, most flattering garment to find, just to ruin the entire ensemble by choosing a color that is completely unsuitable for your skin tone.

In this article we will look at choosing the right colors for your formal attire, so let’s see:

Discover your skin

This is the first step before you even start choosing colors! There are two ways to do this, easy and difficult journey.

A simple way is to go to the cosmetics department of your local shop and ask the girls there to help. They have a few simple tests can be done with sound cards that can be determined by individual skin. It’s free.

The harder way is to DIY to test yourself and you can do this by wearing a white shirt and checking your skin from some white paper. You should be able to tell the difference in tone compared to the white paper because it is slightly pink, or yellowish tinge to the skin to see.

Hot or cold?

Skinned people generally fall into two categories.

If your skin is yellow, beige, brown or olive undertones, it means that your warm skin.

However, if you are blue, pink, purple or pink undertones, then you have a great color.

The eyes have it

On May you never considered the color of your eyes, but it really suits your dress color your eyes are really nice look! To examine all other tones in your iris (colored bit of your eyes), gray and other colors as dots.

Choose an appropriate color

Now you have an idea about your skin and eye color, you can correct colors.

If you are a “hot” skin the “earth tone family”, such as yellow, red or brown is always very good.

If your skin is cool, then blue, purple, green and will be very flattering.

You should experiment with different combinations and, however small try.

For example, if you have cool skin and blue eyes with a hint of green, you will notice that purple dress with a hint of green or makeup or accessories look great.

It is possible to color online maps that flatter certain skin tones, so this is my last advice is to not look for them in your favorite search engine, and then using them as inspiration. You could even print out and keep it in your bag so that when shopping you can sneak a quick look and make sure they are in the correct color-wise!
